Open Question: How long will it take me to tone?

do 35-40 min an night on my elliptical trainer doing 10 plus km and burn about 400 calories. So basically that is 70km a week and 2800 cals a week. How fast can I tone and lose weight? Will it be gone by November. Currently weigh 140 and I am 5′4″ 28 years old.

Open Question: I want to lose 30-40 lbs in 8 1/2 months for my wedding, is this a good goal?

I just bought an elliptical trainer and a fitness ball. I plan to use the trainer at least 30 mins every day and the fitness ball about 3 days per week. Is this a good regimen? If not any ideas involving this equipment would be great. Thanks.
